My best friend, confidant, raison d’être and muse. A stellar talent agent, incredible mommy of two and unprecedented paragon of working-motherhood, Emily (don’t tell her I told you) was once and long ago a child actress. We met and fell in love over our many late hours shared at Acme Talent & Literary.
Now, years later, her love remains the tonic that keeps me sane. Wedged as we are between our busy schedules, a great portion of our limited time together is spent trying to figure out how to spend more time together.
Lasarina Hope Webster
Our first child. If you’ve met her once you already know how fully she represents her name (irish gaelic for fire of wine). A blessing in every sense of the word, she fills our days with life, energy, love and hope.
The most devoted and responsible big sister the world has ever known, Lasarina takes her duties as sibling very seriously. When she gets the chance to share but a fraction of her imagination, insight and loving spirit with this sorely lacking world, then we will all be living in a more beautiful place.
Now if we could just get her to stay in her own bed…
Maev Joy Webster
Our second little gift from God. Maev (irish gaelic for she who intoxicates) came into this world wrapped in a warm blanket of her own joy and, to the best of my knowledge, she has yet to take it off since.
Perhaps the most huggable, kissable (especially on that little button nose) schmugtastically contented a baby as the earth has yet seen. She loves her mommy, worships her big sister and thankfully puts up with me. Just holding her has been known to reverse the aging process and heal the most cynical of hearts.
Look out world, this joy bomb is ready to explode.
